Myofascial Release is whole body, hands on approach for the evaluation and treatment of the human structure with a focus on the fascial system. Physical trauma, an inflammatory or infectious response or any structural imbalance may all create an inappropriate fascial system. Myofascial release techniques relive excessive pressure on pain sensitive structures that produce pain and limit full fluid motion. These techniques also reeducate the central nervous system for new movement possibilities.

Our therapist are trained in the John F. Barnes, PT Myofascial Release approach as it has consistently proven to have produced results in patients that last. In this technique, we use gentle sustained pressure or pulling on the body. Our therapist detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure to facilitate release of the fascia and restore movement.
