The primary goal of treatment at UPT is for our patients to return to a fully functional state. We pride ourselves in successfully treating the “difficult case.” We use a variety of manual therapy techniques, depending on the needs of our patients. We have found that the flexibility to integrate several approaches, as needed, ensures the best possible outcome. Our patients range in age, from children to senior citizens. We treat all injuries and conditions, including tendonitis, bursitis, chondromalacia patella, impingements, cervical and lumbar pain syndromes, as well as all post-surgical cases.
We provide complete care in a compassionate environment. That means we don’t take a “conveyor belt” approach with our patients. Our individualized treatment programs utilize the latest techniques. Our supportive and friendly staff uses a combination of expert manual skills and functional-based training to help clients achieve their desired goals.
Education is a priority throughout the treatment process. Since therapy is only a few hours a week, we feel that early introduction of a home exercise program is essential. By the time our clients complete their therapy, they are well versed in their exercise programs, which ensures continued health. Additionally, products that may be beneficial for independent continuation of care are either complimentary, or available for purchase.
